Frequently Asked Questions

About SHÉ

Who designs SHÉ and where is the brand based?

SHÉ is an Australian womenswear label founded in Melbourne in December 2020 by designer Courtney McGregor, who oversees every stage of the design process, from fabric selection to final fit. The flagship boutique is located at Shop 3, Kings Arcade, High Street, Armadale, Melbourne.

Where are SHÉ garments made?

SHÉ pieces are designed in Melbourne by Courtney McGregor and predominantly made locally by an ethical Melbourne production house, with select basics and shirts crafted overseas to the same exacting standards. Each collection is produced in limited quantities, keeping every piece considered and exclusive.

What is SHÉ's signature piece?

The Ace Shirt is SHÉ's first and hero product — a wrap shirt that can be worn three ways: wrapped and buttoned, criss-crossed for a tailored finish, or relaxed and straight down. It's made from crisp, winter-weight cotton with mother-of-pearl buttons and asymmetric cuffs, and is available in Petite and Regular sizing.

Has SHÉ been featured in the press?

Yes. SHÉ has been featured in Harper's Bazaar, Broadsheet, The Today Show, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, Fashion Journal and Ruush, and has been worn by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Sofia Ritchie, Steph Claire Smith, Pia Mance, Brooke Hogan, Katherine Denton, Gemma Watts, Dani Shreeve, Sarah Abo and Dina Broadhurst.

Sizing

What is the difference between Petite and Regular sizing?

Petite sizing has a 5cm shorter body and sleeve length than Regular, while following the same bust, waist and hip measurements. The Ace Shirt and select styles offer both options.

How do I find my SHÉ size?

SHÉ uses AU sizing 6 to 14, with some styles such as the Margot Shirt sized XS to L. If you're between sizes, SHÉ recommends sizing up. Full body measurement charts are on the size guide page, and the Ace Shirt has its own dedicated size guide linked on its product page.

Shipping & Returns

What is SHÉ's returns policy?

SHÉ accepts change-of-mind returns on full-priced items purchased online, received within 7 days of delivery, unused, unworn, unwashed and with all original tags attached. One free exchange per order is offered, subject to stock availability. Refunds incur a handling fee of AUD $20 per item. Undergarments, sale items, gift cards, custom items and complimentary-hemmed items are not eligible for return. Full details are on the Shipping & Returns page.

Does SHÉ offer Afterpay?

Yes, Afterpay is available at checkout. Full-priced items purchased via Afterpay are eligible for exchange or store credit only — refunds to the original payment method aren't available due to Buy Now Pay Later processing fees, and store credit never expires.

Does SHÉ ship internationally?

Yes. International shipping is available with final costs calculated at checkout. US duties and taxes are covered by SHÉ and included at checkout.
